Who are we?

Jed has a background in conservation, with a BS in Forestry from Virginia Tech (2002) and has worked for state and federal forestry departments along with agricultural conservation as an employee of the Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District. Jed is finishing up his certification as a HERS rater, and plans to work with developers and other builders interested in building and selling newly constructed Energy Star certified homes.

Ruth is a certified LEED AP and is currently taking her Architectural Registration Exams to become a licensed architect. Ruth is also the local coordinator for Green Drinks Northern Shenandoah Valley, is a member of the National Capital Region Shenandoah Area Branch board of the United States Green Building Council and volunteering as a leader for Young Life high school ministry.
